Description

This picture came from a trip to a nearby park. I'm now taking a black & white college course and only now starting to upload some of my work. Enjoy and please leave some thoughts below. After reading some of the comments, I realize that there is a lack of contrast (partially corrected), but I will try to fix it so it doesn't look so washed out. I took this picture when it was overcast and possibly raining slightly. But my camera wouldn't wait for the weather. The noise in this picture is due to the 400 speed film that I use. I'd rather use a finer-grained film, but it's required for my class. Sorry. 04/08 I've tried to improve the contrast and exposure. Also, I've tried to remove some of the noise, just a little.

I like the image composition but as with Bruce, I see too much grain and too little contrast. Perhaps that is your intent?

I get a 1950s feel in this. Although lacking some strong contrast, there is a nostalgic quality to it.

I like this. It's kind of spooky.
