With love I live, with love I give... with love I make this world a better place to live. Love makes the world go 'round. Love characterizes our life and relationships. In all the world there is no substitute for love. Love softens a hard heart. Love makes sad times more bearable. So today... just for today... let us live from a place of love. Let us open our hearts and minds to our greater good and live our lives from the inside out. Today we shall feel love... today we shall give love... today we shall be love. For when we have our living, moving and being as love, we shall know only compassion for others and ourselves. We shall venture into that space that is filled with peace and tranquility and we shall know the joy of giving to ourselves and to others. It will, to be sure, be a day for us to remember... a day when we discover that we were made in the image of perfection and love. Our thought for the day is: 'What I think I am. I knew spiritual people who loved others constantly (one of my recently passed friends was an embodiment of this, everyday), and I've known other spiritual people who lived in solitude and yet exuded love as well, even in the way they broke bread or prayed to themselves before they took a sip of water...just watching them, outward or inward, was watching love & devotion at its most delicate...Beautiful words, and your piece feels like membranes opening in many places, with lights throughout, with lots of undulating veins. (The lights almost appear like distant outdoor lights to light the way of the sojourner...) And you have orbs too—like those small orbs near the top that float over your frame. And more interaction with your frames—the lights weave in and around them (I love how naturally you do this!) and I even like your signature-line on an angle, and of course your miniature 'sphere' version of the whole. The piece speaks of the multiplicity of love, and it goes on well beyond the frame, as all your pieces do. Beautiful lush art for naturally lush words; and it reminds me of a teacher's words years ago: "The reason all of you want to be near loving souls is that their love shines a light on yours..."
