Description
Years ago I had this idea of Batman adapting those Thanagarian wings that Hawkman used for his own purposes. This is the result.
Also, I wanted to try making a Batman image with a different look to his costume. Lots of 3D artists seem to add a high specular value to his armor, which doesn't make sense to me if Batman's supposed to be all ninja and such. How can you hide in shadows when your armor shines like a brand new car? This is my first attempt at a more stealthy light-absorbing look using the traditional blue and greys I grew up with.

Not so keen on the wings myself, but I do like the darker, non-here-I-am look to the outfit.

Very wise on the whole look what I'm wearing look to some of the armor designs for Batman your comment on that is dead on! Not crazy about the loose fit of the mask around the neck and chin plus the wing design could be a bit larger to thin in look but otherwise the armor color and design is pretty freaking cool!!
