Description

Darth Maul on his speeder with his droid, heading towards the escapees of Naboo that he tracked down on Tatooine. Inspired from the scene in "Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace". Darth Maul was a great character, and I always liked that scene. Done with Poser, Vue and Photoshop. Thanks for looking P.s. Thanks to elfguy, Bobbie25 and the people in chat that helped me track something down I needed for this piece. May the Force be with you

I personally feel that any further light in this image would detract from the tremendous sense of speed you have created with your motion blur. I take my hat off to you! You got this absolutely spot on! Steve ;o)

Very nice. The blurring effect adds movement. Still Darth Maul may be too blurred for me. If you had not explained the image, I would have missed it...

Great image, as always. Very clever use of motion blur -- maybe the speeder could have a tiny bit? Its not moving across the field, so its really a "zoom blur", and you'd only want a tiny bit. I really like the framing, it contributes to the feeling of motion. Speaking of which, if the Camera is banking left (presumably in a turn), shouldn't the target speeder be doing so too? I say the camera is banking, because the framing angle implies that. Just a thought.

I like that scene, you did a great job of capturing both the character and the planet in this image. I concur with jdehaven on the lighting issue, though I don't use VUE so I'm not sure how you'd accomplish that.
