Thank you for visiting my Gallery and any comments or critiques are welcome.
Â
I started this adventure in March of 2008 with a desire to realize in images some of my writing that mainly focused on cause and affect of how changes to events in history, technology etc would affect the development of the world around us. 3D art has also increased my interest in mathematics - and how the physics of light and form have been modeled on the computer.
Tools: Bryce, DAZ 3D Studio, Hexagon, GIMP and UVMapperPro. I have been looking at options to create normal maps and to bake AO into the textures.
On Comments:
Thank you to all who have left comments on my images, favoured my images and myself as an artist and sent me friend invites. A special thank you for those that have left comments about what they do not like and what I may do to improve my images. As I am self taught these comments help me improve my work.
I do not have an insightful comment for every work of art I view that often a Hi I was here and appreciated what you have done is of distinct value.
Favorite Artist: Artist that I like the work that they do for a multitude of reasons. It does not mean I will comment on everything they release or even like everything they release. It does mean that I want to be able to look at every thing they release!
3D Art: What must the artist put into an image to claim it as their own instead of the reshuffling of the work of others? This question I find very relevant when considering some of the excellent work that is available as 'props'. These questions have driven me to learn how to work with textures and create/change models so that I can endeavour to put something of my own creation into the images IÂ publish.
Thanks again

Great scene, don't know anything about building scenes via multiple rendering though! Scene still looks great

You did a great job on that as they all came together to create one spectacular scene

Wow fantastic job on this. Love all the little detail, including the rat. And all the figures posted here and there on landings and roof tops. Oh and while you are at it, tell the two rookies (gotta be newbies) by the dumpster not to crowd their cover. And to quit watching the girl in the upstair window, getting undressed, and stay focused on their mission. Those two gals look to be dangerous. I hope the rat has their six. :O)

Only once have I put together a "big" image and it was quite a chore, fun but a lot of planning. In that render depth was one of the bigger issues. Dreamlight's Surface Mask Creator proved to be my best friend when making that one and might be of interest to you for images like this. Looks like you've done a very nice job here. Excellent details, posing, and uniform lighting.
