Nice work Len, lots of artefacts created by the crossovers of displacements or hard edges being pushed/pulled though. This maybe why the image terrain looks very dark in Hue (lots of dark spots), unless this was the overall aim?! I think the subtle green/greys work really well with the waters. Have you tried amending the ambient light values & / or the sunlight strength with moving the timeof day / year?! In my last image I used sunlighting of 3.2 & pushed the sun into the sunset for the T.O.D (just watch specular values for high value hues as they will bleach out). Nice work..looking forward to seeing more :)
