These are some candid shots of my Dad who passed away on April 1st, he was 78. Most of the shots here are very candid photo graphs mostly with my children, and I have probably hundreds or thousands of photos of him, but these ones while not high quality are ones that I came across while putting some photos together for a memorial video that I am making that had certain memories to me. The one with santa (my dad) and the two blonds, I am the cute little blond on the right haha the other is my sister Loraine. I will be heading home to California for the service which is on Monday.
To my dad, thank you being the best father and grandfather (pop) anyone could ever hope for, you always had a smile and a hug for everyone you met. I miss you terribly.

my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, lynell... all the smiles in the photos you've montaged say wonderful things about the kind of man your dad is - which makes it that much harder to lose him, but which will also help you remember him with joy, and so heal more completely. i kinda like to think that maybe my dad's showing yours the lay of the land "up there"; sounds like they'd get along just fine... huggggg...

i am so sorry for your loss. we lost our beloved Chihuahua tonight and i thought that was immensely sad,yet your grief is so much worse, as i have been ther as well when my own mother died

Lynell I am so very sad for your loss. A father is such a special person to a daughter, I lost my Dad a few years ago, but still think of him on a daily basis, and miss him so. But like you I have pictures, and keep the memories of him in my mind and the love I had and have for him locked tight in my heart. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, thank you for sharing your family memories and snap shots. When I lost my Mum I took great comfort in old family photos and the memories they brought flooding back. Friends think I'm nuts when I'm snapping away with my camera saying if you capture an image in a photo you're really capturing a memory for ever. Sending you and your family love and light. xxxxx
