Description
This was shot in the Peak Cavern in Darbyshire UK by the light from a torch useing a Canon 10D set to maximum,and hand held.
Its a candle holder used by the miners who dug out the tunnels hundreds of years ago.
I just love taking low light shots.

A most evocative photo. I'd have to agree that low light was probably the best way to do this sort of shot. It seems to have attributed the whole scene with a real sense of age. Excellent image. :-)

I always use a tripod for low light shots. Your steady hands have gotten away with it though!!!!!!! Fantastic.
