Description

I met this woman in Grants Pass Oregon. She was attempting to raise public awareness concerning the plight of the Akha people. She was wearing traditional clothing of the Akha women of northern Thailand.

Superior portrait of this lovely lady in tradional costume. I was in Grant's Pass many years ago and it is a the type of place I wouldn't mind living in.

Great image it seems these people have the same problems in China, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar as well.. The world should be protecting the languages and cultures of all people..
