i just can't seam to get the smoke right. so i did this far-off shot instead.

Very nice, although I can't recommend that Poser models smoke, due to the dangers of virtual cancer and virtual emphysema. :^) If you don't feel like this image is finished, how about a skull-shape in the smoke? She looks goth enough for it to work. You could do it in a paint program with transparent painting capabilities. Still, this looks good to me as is.

Killer job Iggy. The smoke doesnt look bad at all. Maybe make it a little less opaque, but really well done.

the hair is Koz's wavy hair. i set the colour to Black but kept the transmap. then drew lots of strands sticking out later with my gfx pen. it helps if you look in a mirror when you do that, because you can go over the top. although subtle isn't really how you would describe my hair ;) thanks for the comments everyone. its nice to know i'm not totally useless at this. more to follow x
