The King of this land had insulted the Mischievious Warrior Sorcercess. To teach him a lesson in humility, she placed a spell on his castle that put everyone to sleep and made the grounds around the castle impenetrable to any animal or human life. The King and Queen were warned of the Sorceress's intent by one of the Queen's Fairy Godmothers. They tried to flee the castle before the spell took effect but only made it as far as the easterly gate. No sooner had they passed through the gate than they were turned to stone. The enchantment was complete! Not one soul made it out of the castle for help. The years passed quickly as the castle slowly disappeared behind the forest. Everyone soon forgot about what a lively energetic place the castle had been, for the Sorceress's spell was so complete, it even affected the local residents memories of the castle and it's inhabitants. Many strange tales circulated about the easterly gate's dragon statues prowling at night in search of victims. So everyone stayed well away from the castle and it's grounds, for anyone that DID dare to enter the forest was never seen again. What will be the fate of the castle?
