BIO
I went to Edinburgh College of Art in the seventies. I wove tapestries for years and paint in oils. I like photography, learning classical guitar and lacemaking. I enjoy cycling, walking, reading, films.

a big fuzzy plant behind that bee, like natural camouflage...a big bulbous blossom (didn't intend all those 'b's, but it happens sometimes), with a big fuzzy bee...very nice shot. You always do insects proud. Hope your part of the world is thawing and joyous for you. (It's blowing like all hell here, and cold and rainy. I guess we all have to expect that in April.) I like the palette here too. Lovely shot.

Awesome capture Too soon for the bees to be out here but won't be long with this 70 degree weather in Ky........Under a Tornado Watch now until 8 then snow/rain mix tomorrow and down to 39 during the day.....been outside on my front porch its been so pretty here Hope all is well with you Hugs Susan~

This will be welcome news, Rozanne, since many areas saw no bees, or very few bees, last year, at all. Strangely, I spotted a big one this afternoon, and a friend who has a beautiful garden said that he has had them over his sheltered flowers for over a week, despite the wet, chilly weather. Maybe we'll see a summer this year... maybe pigs will fly...;o) Warm regards, on a wet, chilly evening, from Glasgow, John.
