Description

These are some V4 faces I worked on lately with my own morphs and the standard DAZ ones. I sometimes end with faces that are not what I started out to do. Sometime they sit there and die way. Other times I go back to them and finish them. Most of these are "roughs" with no clean up or gamma correction or anything. I really enjoy doing celebrities and well know faces, but I've not been very successful lately in duplicating anyone I've tried. This is therapy for me from work and stress, but lately this has been frustrating too. Comments from others have been really small in number too, so this may be it for a while until I get back into the swing of things. I've been looking thru the gallery every night and seeing some excellent work from others that inspires me occasionally. Maybe one of two of these faces will inspire someone out there to do some new. Thanks for all the comments.

Nice set of faces! I can understand your feeling about the number of comments! You do good work, Mark! Keep it up and soon you'll be seeing 2, 3 maybe 4 pages of comments and scads of faves. It takes time to find them, believe me I know. If anything, do it for yourself! have fun and see what happens then.

interesting faces :) (I gave up my futile morphing exercises long time ago. My faces always tended to end as monsters or caricatures ... sigh)

These are really awesome! Excellent work. There has been less traffic lately on the site to many of the galleries. I am not quite sure why, but I don't think it is just you. Superbly done... really!

Great collection of faces you have here. You never know they will be there when something comes up to use one.

Those faces are quite attractive although they do not remind me of anyone in particular. I tried to use Faceshop 4 for this purpose but think this is an awful program. I was glad when I got my money back. Maybe some people with more patience or better skill have got this to work. The person who demonstrates great success with this is Fygomatic. Visit his gallery at http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.php?page=3&userid=61047. Maybe one day he will tell people how he does it.

The faces are great--I like that they look real, and have good proportions--you have a nice talent for sculpting!

You are a super artist and I always enjoy visiting your gallery. You have fabulous skills - as demonstrated here. Great collection of beautiful characters, all of which have intriguing features. Yes, it's tough to get faces to 'look right' but you've done a great job in the past on this (love your Seven of Nine morph - you outta sell that one!) Very cool and interesting work here!

Hey Mark, Great work!!..they are all very beautiful morphs, and that fact that you are prepared to tackle face morphs speaks volumes.. it is a very complex 'black' art!!. Like others, my efforts have been pretty lame, especially when trying to mimic someone wellknown.. so I can appreciate your frustration.. translating what I visualise onto the screen doesn't often go the right way for me!. You have a couple of very appealing ladies above, that would be really good to play with. As for comments or number of..I really enjoy veiwing your work, so don't bail out on us.. I'm with faemike55 on that score. cheers, TT

I find your art great and this set a really well done and interesting work. About comments I agree with Faemike55. Sometimes for me it's more important who put the comment. Hugs!

I like this display of your different character morphs. They all look unique and not very much like the base V3/V4 like so many of the characters for sale in the stores. As for comments, it may be nice to get a couple pages worth of folks saying 'nice work', but it's the thrill of creating a good looking picture and posting it that does the trick for me. Hopefully we'll continue to see your work being posted and commented on, too.

Like many have said, you have to do it for yourself. Comments are nice and I truly appreciate those I receive for renders I post, but overall it's whether I'm happy enough with something I've created to share it that makes me feel good. There are thousands of truly inspiring artists here that I will never approach the talent of, that have more creative vision and more resources than I'll probablty ever have, too, but that just gives me loftier goals for my own work. I use D/S as an outlet from real life and as a stress reliever much as you do. I do hope you continue to create, you never know when "the one" will come out. Good renders are planned, great renders happen.
