Yeah, I know... long title. :) But it just kind of sounded cool.
Here's where I got the idea for this picture. Did you see the movie Men in Black? The main plot of MIB puts two agents in hot pursuit of a “Bug” alien that has crash landed near a farm house on Earth. The alien is looking for a cat named Orion. Around Orion’s neck is a real “galaxy” in a crystal ball suspended on a pendant necklace. It is the alien's objective to destroy the galaxy.
So my picture shows a goddess who controls the fate of an entire galaxy and she holds that galaxy in the palm of her hand. It is hers to do with as she pleases. And the real question is does she seek to destroy it or not?

Great concept piece and you pulled it off perfectly. Hopefully this isn't the western/Christian concept of the devil but rather a more wiccan based idea of Lucifer... One who had the nerve to question the "supreme" diety. Asking questions is what we need, not blind faith. I do not get a sense of evil from her but I do get a sense of a complicated universe that she has to deal with.
