Description
BatMan: Hi everyone, this image was just a test render for textures and such. I had found this Zbrush model on-line, the mesh in Zbush was pretty hi-poly had to learn a few things just to lower the poly count. Its still alittle high, Ive also had a few challenging curves with the rigging. Being Ive been use to low-poly game models, Ive had to dig into soft selection to get a smoother rigging. Anyways this is a pretty small render and alittle less post then what I put into my other renders, so sorry for the lack of efforts. Credits: Batman Zbrush model by leonlabyk a very talented artist I might add he also has a great wolverine with just as much detail as in this model. Lowered the mesh in Zbrush (took a few atts) rigged and posed in Max
the rigging is still being worked out so its still a wip/ Post Cs2. Again sorry for the lack of size, will do a much better one when time permits:) I hope you all like the progress. CHEERs.

Love the texture of his costume and cowel and the look of the eyes! Thank you for loosing the vulture look of Christian Bale's mask only still keeping small opening for the mouth and jaw takes away the strength of his look just as much. It just makes him look puckered. Now this is the characteristic taken only with Bale's look not one I've been crazy about. However your skill is impeckable your potrait of that mask and this is No exception!!!! You do Brilliant work man no doubt, I just like the more original style better! Like how Purfectly Jim Lee did for Batman Hush series, Now That Is Batman, or even Alex Ross who gives him a real life look that is Powerful!!!! You have that same skill just not crazy about the Bale version of the mask ugh.

Thanks guys:) Zhaanman you are so right Though I love this model, you nailed it! looks like Im going to maybe rework or do one from scatch;) I think becuse I have such a great respect for the talented atists who make freebies, and aside from the great support and feed back from all my fellow artist (I rely heavily on all your comments) I might try my hand with Zbrush:) being I wouldnt want to change or de-bunk anothers creation. I try so hard when using anothers creations not to give a poor presentation, but high lite it? or at best show off the hard work put into a model on all levels. On this model there is so much work that has gone into it, I realy want to do a complete render (Full-shot).. If anything to try and show the efforts and vision of this artists work, it realy is as a whole a great piece of work. Plus the artist leonlabyk has posted it as a freebie:) thanks again for all your feed back...CHEERs.

Geez man- even your works in progress blow away the competition in all areas- I have not done much rigging in Lightwave, as its pretty time consuming and somewhat difficult, so I have mad respect for what you do with each of your characters. The look of intensity on this guy is really key to the image- very nice emotional expression.

Excellent work with the textures of the mask. The eyes look excellent - great center of focus. The skin looks a tad metalic to me - but that could be my perspective.
