Looking at this old bird brings an old comment to mind, "Look at all those thousands of parts flying in close formation." Ungainly but effective. With all the advanced aircraft developed, WWII Germany never developed an effective four engine bomber that it could produce in significant numbers.

What the Guys down at the local Aircraft museum would give for a ride in that!!!! Pueblo used to be a Training center for B-24 crews in WW2. They finally got there hands on one for Stacic display, but to fly in one would be a dream com true!! Beautiful shot of a fine old warrior!!

There is nothing remotely attractive about this plane....it's just beautiful because it is....that makes no sense to me either, but I love this plane and this is a great picture of it.

Great plane, great photo! Gotta agree with the others. The B-24 was NOT pretty. Kind of like a pig with wings. But it was tough, reliable and did its job well.
