hello there..:), "Warm light" a piece to take a break from the hectic routine, painted using tablet in painter, with a touch of photoshop. background has been done using my own custom made brushes and other textures), rest has all been painted, mostly using my own brushes, all to give it a hint of traditional feel.
i went for a strong, straight yet simple still life bearing a warm mood, with a little air of melancholy.

I like the texturing a lot, but also the reflections of light from the glass on the tablecloth, and how you sketched in the shapes of the base of the glass-- it looks very casual but it looks very realistic when the viewer steps back from teh image!

No melancholy here, rether a sense of warm anticipation especially from the reflected light off the vase. The colors are just beautiful. I see a modern style reflected in the flowers. I dare say one of your best pieces to date.
