Great image, real tension though I think the grass would be a safer landing spot.Great composition with obvious thought for the background as well as the subject.Good stuff.

But you know, despite the fact they were little more than flying tin cans, those B-17s were remarkably tough old birds, capable of sustaining unbelievable amounts of damage...they DEFINITELY do not build machines like that in America anymore (thanks to 30 years of conservative free-trade economic policies and whole outsourcing of US manufacturing overseas - I shudder to think what the world would be today if we hadn't had FDR). Anyway...nice tribute.
