Description

I used to collect butterflies for displays and collecters. Was always torn between killing living things and preserving their beauty. After years of sweating nightmares, hearing their tiny screams, I got over it. *** Made the room, executioner's hood and net. Textures from Gurrea and Animax

Love the notion of an executioner using a butterfly net. I once found a butterfly that had gotten caught in screendoor. I carefully freed it and it flew into the air when I let go of it. Then it circled around, landed on my finger, and uncoiled its tongue and touched my flesh briefly before it flew off again. It seemed as if it was saying thank you. One can make too much of such things, but it is an image that has stuff with me many years now.
