Description

First of a series (at least I hope it will be a series, if I find the time to do more) called “Organic vs. Mechanic”. The idea was simple to show the conflict between human technological advance and nature. The picture was created using Zbrush (3d application) and postwork in Photoshop. Here you can see a render of the image with only one material as it comes from Zbrush:

Hope you like this kind of art using 3d as I sure will do more stuff like that in future, I enjoy it enormously using Zbush as a tool to create art, if is extremely creative to work with Zbrush and it offers very new ways to create art. But no sorrow I sure do my 2d painted images as well in future :-). Hope you like thanks for looking…

extremely different... I like the looks... Gross, yet, I can't take my eyes off of it... lookes like throwup, or body decay.. snake decay... it even looks like the robot could of gone back though time and had a RUN in with dinoroul... Just saw his image of a dino... It made me think the dino was screaming: "we're out of TP" - LOL YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!

Zbrush is an amazing tool and I think you really have the hang of it, judging by the wicked result ! Question: was the depth layer done while still in Zbrush or in Photoshop ? Looking forward to more in this series ! ~Cheers~

Awesome. I like artwork that blends man and machine. There aren't many people around here that are using ZBrush to its full potential, but you've done quite well with this image. Nice work compositing in Photoshop as well.

If you've ever seem any of my work then you'll know I love this kind of image. Great work in ZBrush also, so many people only explore the 3D sculpting side of it but there is so much more to this software to enjoy.
