Description

Just a goofy image for a quiet afternoon...... I finally downloaded LegoCAD last week and I've been having fun with / getting frustrated by this virtual toybox. I built a sphere and then wondered what to do with it. One thing led to another...... A little Speed Blur to give a sense of motion. Background is a posterized manip of the Orion Nebula courtesy of Astronmy Pic of the Day..

I think you need a girlfriend Dave!!! ...at least then you'd be putting your frustration to (hopefully) good use!!! LOL LOL LOL Sorry...just had to razz you!!! LOL You are quite remarkable, Dave!!! You can take just about anything and make it fun to look at!!! Great Job!!! LOL

Take a look at ML-CAD. I haven't tried the Lego-CAD, but I had my kids learning 3d on the ML-CAD. They used it to make step by step instructions for their Lego models with it. Later, the eldest made animations of his Lego jedi character with it (OK I confess... I liked it so much that I got the kids interested in it so that the wife wouldn't laugh at me, since I was "getting involved in their hobby"). Nice interface, short learning curve, and it has most of the lego pieces available. Used to Render to POV-Ray, been a few years.
