Description

Exercising the better part of valor, the Captain orders flank speed to evade the incoming C.S.S. Colin Powell. This leaves me about 8 more renders for the first issue and then a LOT of postwork. :) Comments, critiques and ratings always welcome. Please take time to take a gander at my gallery here on Renderosity as well as on DeviantArt.com (also under DrMcQuark). Enjoy!

Sometimes a quick retreat is the best choice of actions. Cool image.

Well Patrick your doing great so far my friend and your build up is also coming along perfectly. Sounds like your going to be spending a lot more time on the next renders.

Excellent image, the BG and other details make this image, but the shadows leave me confused. Thank heavens for zoom. I could not figure out the shadow on the "good guys" ship until I zoomed. I am 90% sure the rest of my visual problem is perspective, ie the tail of the pirate ship, I can't tell if it is tilted to the side or above or below the main body. Is there another image of the pirate ship, sorry I am to lazy to go thru all your images?? Thanks

Is the 'Colin Powel" the one coming out of the sun, aroun the ventral side of the space-liner? If so, it's a well made piece of work of a pursuit/interseption! Very nice!
