It was definitely worth the trip... luckily most of the trip was inexpensive (except for renting the private trucks)... even the cabin that I stayed at (a beautiful quaint resort) only cost about $20 a night... Thailand is SO inexpensive, with the exception of some electronics... I definitely recommend it to anyone willing to take the LONG plane ride... B-)

I was wondering if anyone was going to comment on that part... I always try my best to capture something to show people scale... the majesty presented by standing in front of a beautiful waterfall (this is the third breathtaking waterfall I have ever stood by... Niagra Falls and one in Maui past Hana are the other two) can not accurately be portrayed in ANY photo... the same can be said of the Eiffel Tower... London Parliament and Big Ben... the Colosseum in Rome... I TRIED to capture these and failed to preserve the imagery in a context to really show their sheer grand presence... so I always tell people, photos are worth 1,000 words, but actually SEEING for yourself is worth a 1,000 photos... hence, my passion for traveling... B-) Thanks for the comments... B-)
