Hi Everyone, These ducks were having no part in my photo attempts. They kept swimming further away. So sadly the best I could do was full zoom. They are a pair of hooded mergansers. Not very big as ducks go but both have unique design and coloring. Hope one of the better photographers of renderosity can get us a nicer look. Thank you all who left a comment on my last upload. Wild ducks are very hard to catch up close. I'm thinking about setting up a blind along the river. I still wouldn't see any like these. Wonderful capture!

They were worth the zoom as they are beautifully marked aren't they. A shame they didn't come closer for you. It is still a lovely capture as the water looks great.
