wonderful scope, as Topaz notes above. For some ideas: 1) lighting. this is a very uniform lighting scenario, which tends to make the scene look "small". Since we're looking at a scene that stretches for miles, how 'bout lighting some of it in cloudshadow, and some in sunshine? This will create a sense of depth and size 2)Camera position. You might move the camera closer to the ship to the right. Bringing this close to see fine detail "expands" the scale of the image. 3) make it a night scene. This reminds me so much of the Blade Runner flight scene. With a million little lights (easy to do), the sense of scale changes dramatically.
