Description

There exists between the Fae Realm and the human realm a dimension that is rarely seen by the Fae and never by the humans. There are gates that link the human and fae realms. Some are very safe, others, not so safe. Those gates, the unsafe ones, are used by the Fae only in extreme emergencies because there is the slight chance that instead of entering their realm or the human realm, they could wind up in the space between. Some Fae have escaped from that region with tales of creatures beyond imagination. One of the most common creature is a dragon, unlike any ever seen or talked about. In comparison, the dragons in the Fae realm are slow and clumsy. The dragons in the nether realm are slender and jagged, almost like living lightning and move just as quickly. Those Fae that do survive are forever changed, their eyes become a deep purple and forever do not focus in the true world, either of the Fae or the Humans. The fae spend the majority of their time looking for something that is not there, until one day, they just die, looking older than their true age. Based on the descriptions given, here is a rendering of one such dragon from this frightening realm... Thank you very much for all the wonderful comments and faves on my last post, 'Heart of the Galaxy' I really apprecicate them. I wish everyone a very quiet and joyous weekend and for those who celebrate Easter, Happy Easter. Mike This image was created in Apo and mutated 25 times before this dragon appeared. It took 2 hours, 41 minutes, 5 seconds and 35 hundreths of a second to render in the format size of 1152 by 864 all on a machine that is not suppose to do this type of stuff.
