Description

This is very much another experiment and is far removed from my "normal" kind of post but I am feeling inspired and bold!! Having looked at other members galleries, opening of ones mind works wonders :) Am I becoming creative after being on this earth for 49 years lol This is part of an enormous and very rusty chain attached to the harbour wall at Bonne Nuit Bay in Jersey. Boats are tied to the main chain in the Harbour. I have no idea how old the chain may be. Please feel free to look via full view. Susan Thank you for your comments on my previous post and a special thank you to those who made it a favourite :) "Orchid for PD154"thumb_1863284.jpg

well seen and outstanding macro. a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link and this one is really weak

This image really appeals to me, I love all the variation of colour and texture - fantastic portrayal of the corruption of iron as it slowly rusts away!

Cool macro, Susan. It looks like many years of presense in salt water.. were a bit hard, on that chain.:)
