I've heard it said that a good wife is like medicine to her husband...guess thats why I'm so healthy :-). This is Bobbie and I on our vacation to Cozumel.BIOI started taking, developing and printing my own photos when I was a about 11 years old. My Dad built me a darkroom and I always loved making composite images in those days.
I started drawing and painting as well and after graduating from High School I attended Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota FL. Loved the work of F. Frazetta, M. Parrish, S. Dali and V. Bode. The Ringling years were fun.
Bobbie and I knew each other from first grade and I always loved her...but we were always "just friends" until my second year at Ringling. Thats when I decided to go back home for the summer and talk her into coming back to Fl with me...she said yes and a year later, we were married. That was 22 years ago and If I had it to do over again I wouldnt change a thing.
After graduating from Ringling we moved to Atlanta and I worked for some photographers building sets and developing film...but the city life was not for me...we moved back to SC and have remained here for the last 20 years. We have a 17 year old son.

My vote would be for this version. Not because the curtains made it too busy, but I like the openess of this one. I also like the frame on this one better. Love the moths in the corners! And a very happy anniversary to you two!! :)

yep, have to agree that the border on this one is much nicer. The other was waaaay busy. If you still have a layered version of this tho, you might want to adjust the smoke and glow on that left candle...Also, that blurry bit in the lower right corner, just outside the shell shadow is a bit distracting. Great job!

I love your work. I feel a real 1930's fantasy kinda thing going on with the whole presentation.(someone else said the same thing, in the last image comments, i think.) Very original. You love what you do.... It shows!
