Description
Traveling to Rome was one of the pinnacle moments of my life... I have always wanted to go and see the place where Democracy began... our great country has so many of it's roots here... growing up, I had a passion for ancient history... I used to dream about The Colosseum and I would imagine what it was like to stand there with the crowds... to watch the gladiators battle one another.... and when I stood IN the Colosseum and touch the stones I was able to close my eyes and truly be there... and to me that moment was one that I shall NEVER forget...
One dream fulfilled... many left to complete....

Awesome photo, I know how you feel. When being able to actually see and touch something like that it does gives you that feeling.
