Description

From Wikipedia: "The Antennae Galaxies are a pair of interacting galaxies in the constellation Corvus. They were both discovered by Friedrich Wilhelm Herschel in 1785." Yes - this is an image of the very real NGC 4038/NGC 4039 cluster snapped by the Hubble telescope. What's unique about this image is that I used the original data (FITS - infrared, ultraviolet/optical data) to recreate and recolor my own version of these colliding galaxies. Hope you like it. I had fun putting this together. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS!!!
