The idea was country comfort, and I wanted it to be fairly close up. So a nice country house at night. Tomato soup, grilled cheese sammich, nice fruit. A simple cake. Comfort. Food is damned hard to do well in 3D. I had a hard time with this because I couldn't get the lights balanced. Two lights, both in the same position to emulate a cieling light, and an extra light in the back just for a little bounce. One light for the walls and one light for the table. The food still lights up a bit too much, but I couldn't drop the light any lower because other things would have been too dark. Not really finished, I feel. I was still fiddling with balances and such, but I had a book cover job come in and had to stop working on this.
