Description

greetings..::), "Contend", more of a concept to show a man's/contender's struggle with nature, life and its last days, helplessness...few scenarios that were in my mind while working on this. did go thru few refs for huts for initial sketching. painted in artrage and painter - tablet. my aim to go for a gloomy mood is very much obvious..:). thanks for dropping by and im sorry if someone finds it too dark on the screen. i actually wanted it to be dark and moody. pls let me know if u find it okay as per the requirement and serving the purpose. best.

Brilliantly done, you certainly capture the darkness and menace - but the highlight in the clouds behind the shack also suggests a hint of hope to me. Beautifully crafted.

You were successful in painting your concept. Your narrative says it all. There is one exception... The reflection of light on the clouds creates a glimmer of hope in what I view. Maybe it is just me, as I am ultimately and optimist, while being a realist in the moment. This is beautiful, and though gloomy, it is an essential view in our times. Excellent work, Waheed.
