Description

Both sides of the pond used to be just ivy, the rocks on the pond could not be seen for ivy and where the rather long grass, seat and table are, was just ivy and blackberry, getting it all out was a tiresome job but its a lovely place to sit & while the hours away now. (The big tree trunk is the Walnut tree & the slimmer ones the Plum) There is Rosemary, Bay and Lavender growing profusely to the left, and a multitude of other plants including Strawberry which just 'hopped' all over the area last year from one plant. I aim to 'rescue another part of the garden this year which at this moment in time is covered in nettles, it will make another lovely spot to sit in but I'm thinking more veggies will be going there when it is cleared :o) Thanks for looking and all your comments on the Ladybird image!! Hugz Jen :o)

What a magical garden it is turning into, reminds me of the book/film 'The secret Garden' and how the children made it into a paradise again. A wonderful scene, hugs Jane xx
