I see at least three layers of different shapes. Right at the bottom lies a pattern of squares and rectangles in bright colours, followed by the twirling spirals in red, finally the big shapes, combined of right angled and curved outlines, with the underlying pattern of squares and spirals. I like this work, it's so balanced in form and colour.

This would make a cool oilcloth, and shifting the hue makes for interesting variations.
