Kinna was approaching the gate to the Long Distance Runner's landing strip when a familiar figure steps out from behind the wall. "Hello Kinna," Metla Synyss said. "How's my favorite Jedi Mistress." "Let me show you," Kinna said laughing. With a rush, she picks up her old friend in a strong bear hug. Then both look each other in the eyes. But before things could get all teary eyed, a deafening squeal causes both the heads to jerk to the side. Just in time to see a bald ball of energy called Metla Orinie flying toward them. Both had time for one thought before hurricane Metla hit them: this is going to hurt. And it did. But it was worth it because they had Metla back. After they painfully pulled themselves off the ground, Metla and Kinna grab their wigs and pull them back on. "Kinna, when I got here, I saw Pink heading for the ship like a woman on a mission. Is something wrong?" "Yeah. We found out that her mother found the newest member of the crew. And evidently she's been in seclusion with him since yesterday." "Yesterday? When's the poor guys funeral," Metla laughs. "No man can last that long with her. No woman for that matter. There's just something not natural about that human." Kinna shakes her head. "I think we should worry about her. This is no ordinary human here. The first day he was with us he gave Pink what no man was ever able to do." Metla arches her eye brows. "Really? I didn't think she'd ever have one of those. From a man anyway. So she had him huh?" "For twelve very noisy hours," Melee complained. "Like I said he's not normal." Kinna's nose twitches. Looking down, she sees blood covering the girls knee and shin. "Melee! Look at your leg! We need to get you to the medlab now." "No need. I've stopped the bleeding." "You can do that now," Metla asks. "How did you find out you could do that?" "Joshua taught me." Melee instatantly knew she'd said the wrong thing. A look of panic crosses her face. "I've already figured it out Melee. I found Marty in the hanger bay cleaning the dented bulkhead where he'd punched it. Marty tried to say that one of the droids had done it, but I know the smell of human blood. Joshua's blood. Then there were the bacta bandages he wore for a couple of days." "He hit that thick bulkhead hard enough to do that? Not even Mulk could do that," Metla said. "He must have broken every bone in his hand." "No. I think his bones are much tougher, denser than even a Mazuran's. He weighs almost twice what a normal male of his species should." Metla gets a glint in her eye. "And how would you know that my old Mistress?" "Because she's been sampling the goods," Melee says, smirking. "And so has Seesha. I bet Lele would try him if Marty let her, and it was possible. He's as big a slut as you women are." Metla looks at Melee, a stern look on her face. Pointing at the girl she starts to say something, but Kinna cuts her off. "No! He doesn't look on the girl's like that. He treats them like sisters. Well Melee anyway. He's only been in the same room with Ano and baby once. And that was on the bridge. They stood in the door and he was on the far side." "Why does he do that? Doesn't he have any control over him self?" Kinna explains to Metla about Joshua and his pheromones. "You'll see what I mean when you meet him. The Melee's safe when he wears his protective suit. But our noses are far more sensitive than theirs. You'll smell him when you get on board." Standing up Kinna pulls the other two up off the durracrete. "Let's hurry. I want to hear what they're up to in there. This should be fun. Then we can catch up in the lounge."
