Special thanks to Lzy724 for her lovely gift of her fabulous backgrounds called Lzy724 Simply Goth Bundle. It's a wonderful collection of really pretty backgrounds in all different colors and settings. I could only pick one for this picture. :) Such a tough decision.
The reason I painted a little blue bird is due to my buying a new wacom tablet! (I blame MJ (aka WildAboutTheGuy) for this - she told me that they'd just come out with the new Intuos 4 tablets!!!) I got my new toy and had to play with it. And what better way to play than to do a painting. Wow - using this tablet is like night and day from my old one. I was using an Intuos 2 that I bought many years ago and it kept messing up on me. Now I can finally paint as if I was using a real brush/pen.

Wow Lori, to paint with a tablet has always been a dream of mine and to see how you pulled it off... well the feeling is truely magical. You have such an amazing gift for being able to draw that sometimes I wonder why you do poser work! This is one of those examples.
