Description

... strange.. but I just finished a long render in Poser... yeah I like it... sorta... but while it was doing the render, I went roaming around my hard drive.. and came across this image.. shot in 2001, and it took me back to a time.. when all I really needed in life.. was me... it sounds lonely... it was lonely... but I learnt a lot.. and dreamed of greater things that came true... well in part anyway. So... cutting the crap... this is our "Back Beach"... Taranaki, New Plymouth... The Sugar Loaf Islands. It's actually a volcanic crater, but buried under water. It's linked to our mountain.. and if one blows, the other will too... in time, both are active. Anyway.. where the hell is my Poser shortcut on my desktop??? Deane

This looks like paradise - and your words about lonelyness made me think... If we are happy isn't any place paradise for us?! And if we are sad? At least living in a wonderful may comfort us a bit, maybe it is able to draw our thoughts apart from lonlyness or whatever ails us. To me the look on an august landscape was always something that made me feel better, at least for a moment.

You got all this georgeous landscape in your backyard, a good SLR and time to watch movies on top of rendering daily and you dont have more photos like this? And you wonder why I think you are nuts?
