this is a pic that i did of some one very special to me .I caught him off gaurd when i took his pic for this pic . could you please leave a comment because all comments help me as i am self taught and a not been doing this long it was this person that got me to try drawing

Beautiful and deep expression, you do have a lot of talent, a gift for knowing how to express so much emotion. There is nothing wrong with being self-taught and you know so much already. In my opinion all you need is practice because you already have what it takes to do great work and that is something that cannot be learned in a classroom. I don't see technic as the major thing, if you are able to infuse life in your work you've got the main part and you definitely know how to do that! You already have the necessary things for great art, you were born with it, you just need to trust yourself :)
