No buds yet...but they are mighty close.
This towering giant is in a riverside park here in my hometown.
The morning sun on the tree in this early morning shot really caught my eye.
Please ZOOM...it looks so much more impressive.

You're right about the zoom, Bill. This is near Leavenworth recently? Our dogwoods (Tulsa) have been in full bloom for going on 10 days now. The azaleas are burgeoning with blossoms.

really good work Bill, I love how the small branches are all shimmering & white, against the darker large branches & trunk. This is a real early spring shot, sinewy & thread-like, and looking like it's ready to bloom. Don't know how you get the light on shots like these, but it's beautiful. Perfect for a cold spring morning!
