Description

I was taking a break from sewing my new costume up, and sort of fooling around in Photoshop, again. The planet is a mix of things from the Lunarcell plugin by Flaming Pear, layers of various cloud-filters or texture-fills. The stars started out from the plugin Glitterato, but were also altered with a cloud-filter and some blur layers (gaussian blur, and motion-blur layers) The nebula is a mix of photos of actual clouds, and the cloud filters. I wonder what my neighbors think when they see me aiming my Nikon up at the sky... Enjoy everyone, and thanks for taking a look!

Do like your blue nebula very much, but the planet seems a lot like some of your more recent ones. Still, a very fine render. Also, would enjoy seeing what your costume looks like at this point.

As always, fantastic. I like the colors here, especially in the nebula. HA...so you do the photo of clouds thing too? I love doing stuff like that. I have to rebuild my planetary stock so I'm running around taking lots of pictures of...well...concrete, crumbling stone and stuff like that; I'm sure my neighbors think I'm a bit of a loonie. Anyway, enough of that...I love this piece, the intensity of it and the subtle shadings of color and form. Great stuff, as realistic in appearance as anything the Hubble Space telescope is capable of showing us.
