Description

One can give many things. One can give money... one can give of one's possessions. But the greatest gift of all is to give of the Self. When we give of the Self, we give from the heart in which dwells love. To give is to receive and what greater gift is there than love. So today... just for today... let us do a random act of kindness and give from the heart... these will be the gifts that return to us most freely and when they do, we shall receive them ten fold. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: "I once thought love had left me because I had given it away. To my surprise, it was returned to me in a form more splendid than before it was given.' Gayle O I wish you dreams of joy and delight. I wish you safe keeping through each night. And when the day comes anew, I wish you skies of baby blue. © Gayle O This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack. The seed script used in this piece is Bunny Clarke's BC's 3D Faerie_Blossoms-v3. There were some minor tweaks by me. Post work was done in PSP. Please check out Bunny Clarke's gallery. your last 2 pieces have been like terrariums, green-houses of inner dance, they've had an airiness & gravity-less feeling that have made us want to throw off our burdens and dance. And like the last image, you've created forms which look like they came from real life—as if these were photos of windows, flowers, etc, which you placed into your vision...There's also the feeling of sky-lights; and your green looks like the green of a restful green-house or beautiful aquarium. How does it relate to your words on giving the Self? Well, like all your visuals, it's not a 'representation' of your words, but a dance! It's like a big visionary dance of the soul, danced to your words—that's how it feels to me. Another collaboration of words & image, and another beautiful upload from you. (Gayle, maybe you'd be interested in this: When we started out learning about giving to people in need, we saw it as 'me' giving to 'you'. We learned in time that there was giving from the small self, and giving from the larger self—what you've rightly called Self. But then, after some time, we learned that giving isn't giving at all, but communing; that, when we're able to give deeply—and that's not easy, even though it's wholly natural—there's a melding of two or more souls. it was always larger than the giver & receiver. Just saying what you've said, only in slightly different words. Our limited selves will empty: I've seen even great souls collapse at the end of a day, and feel, "I have nothing left to give". But they knew that the deeper self was limitless; so they went to a place of deep rest and whispered, "I've shut you out, deep self: Help me receive you again..." And in time they were attuned, and they could flow once more. Just another way of saying what you said...)
