that is a brilliant photo I only birds take a bath in dry clay or sand.

I love his indignity at being photographed during a bath. There is something magical about watching a bird bathe. They enjoy them at different levels and in different ways but this bathing they do is always a treasure to watch just as this is shot is a treasure to view.

another stunning bird shot! here's a thought.. are you able to get a higher viewpoint with an unobstructed view of the water table? with a pose like this I think if you were able to get the reflection too that would be just out of this world.. but maybe not feasible ;) very nice Maria
