The alpha map of the palm to the right looks a bit odd. Maybe simply too close to the camera. Beside that, nice play.

I agree with wabe on the alpha map...prob'bly anti-aliased textures would solve this and I would have used soft shadows for this but a great start mate...stay healthy and be happy.. ...
