Hi Guys...
I'm RGUS, a 3D artist from New Zealand hence the Kiwi Avatar.
I've been using Poser since 2004 and recently begun to use DAZ Studio.
Originally I used the render engines bundled with the base software and it was not until Octane was available did I change engines. I believe iRAY, now supplied with DAZ Studio, does a very good job. However, my development has stayed with Octane since I use both Poser and Studio with Octane for each as the main render engine.
Enjoy!

Hey, mate! Don't be so hard on yourself! Remember, you have critics. So,let them do all the pooh-pooing, willya? The rest of us will just enjoy the latest presentation from you and your muse. Thanks.

LOL...Your too funny !! Nice image even with the mistake's you talked about. :)

Your not losing it... you just got use to uploading simple photos - LOL... now, you have to work at your images before you click that button... and it doesn't help that Easter was 5 days ago - lol Picture looks good, character would look good as the queen of hearts with an oriental type font for the q.
cazalobos
stunning image lovely dangerous girl.
Inspired_Art
Well technically...if she USED the blades they wouldn't be shiny anyways....

Do you give the title after creating the picture or before? Wonderful render! Oh!.... your women are WONDERFUL WITH CLOTHES ON!!!... makes them look SEXY, with bits and bobs showing makes it trashy, from a womans point of view! When you drape them in seethrough fabric that is just amazing!
praep
I like the idea - you're right with the self critique in some terms. I think she will need a bonesetter after the render-session in this pose lol Anyway, great render.
DangerousThing
I grant you the focus thing and the shoes. But the image is wonderful and I wouldn't go taking any eggs from a pint-sized samurai woman. And what do you feed tiny little samurai woman anyway?
summer1412
Well I think it looks beautiful, even despite some of the little things you mentioned (all of them little in the scheme of the image). And jeezus, Deane, talk about not being able to shut somebody up! ;) Hehehe, I kid. Anyway, it looks fine. I say so. And that's all that matters. grin

Excellent cloth work!!!!
Moonfire
I agree about the blades..definitely need to be shinier. Also agree about the cloth and I'd add it also throws it off that her hair is just kinda sitting there...okay, okay maybe she has super-hold hairspray, who am I to judge her hair rituals? Also...there be some shadowing missing.:P We're all guilty of posting things that aren't up to our own standards I guess. I know I am. XD How do you get the dynamics to do that wind blown thing? I think that's so cool..I'm not real good with dynamics. Great idea though, very whimsical. :)

so much self critic the only thing that caught my eye was the DoF The Girl is very clear but the bottom of the pic ( foreground ) is a little faded away. but overall 5 points worth ;)

Woah... touches your forehead - Deane, hey, that's a classic kind of render-depression!! Wihle (yes..) not the most spectacular image you've ever done this is well made (except the tip-toe pose ;o)) ) and I, personally, like the background as it makes her look sweet like a very tiny person that hides inside a locker - and will hurt you with her supertiny sword when trying to get out one of those eggs.
MoxieGraphix
LOL. You can be a real goof sometimes. The background looks like depth-of-field so we'll throw that complaint out the window :P

Wow, your being hard on yourself today. We are always our own worst critics anyway. Most of us just enjoy what you present. Not ever render comes out perfect. Gosh, do I know that by the folder full of works in progress. With all the fantastic work you put out, there has to be work in progress once in a while. Nice image anyway.
RetroDevil
hehe.. very nice work
mauk

If you are losing it, then I never had it in the first place! :) As for the dress going in the wrong wind direction: She probalby forgot to add fabric softener during washing it.. Keep 'em comming mate!

Excellent
WWBarros
Wonderful !!

I like Meike's "render-depression" LOL! Ok, shiny blades would look better because you'd get the nice contrast between the cloth and the shiny metal..cloth looks fine..more than fine, actually. I've stood on the toes of getas and as long as the front edge is on the ground, it's just like high heels, though no actual geta wearer would be caught doing it because it's undignified (but I tilt chairs too;-) I sort of like seeing the edge of the table because she looks like a really dangerous little toy at that scale! And it's so fun to see you goof around..giant Easter Eggs indeed;-) Maybe they are dragon eggs!
ariaans
She definitely looks like she'll defend them!! :) Beautiful work!! :)
debbielove
What a cool idea AND a really great look too. Totally interesting and ..... well, just plain freaky.. Cool. Rob.
