Description
The mild mannered squirrel that you see on the ground, transforms himself into Acrobat Squirrel right before your eyes! He performs his routine several times a day. Runs up the tree, picks a good branch to run on and then will fly with the greatest of ease to a branch no bigger around than your index finger...and settles himself to hang on the very end and happily eat the new buds. He is very skilled at running upside down on the branches. He repeats this performance on up to 8 branches before he again retreats to the ground, stops to eat a bud that fell and then escapes to his 'room' in the eaves of the house to nap before his next performance.
