Hello all. I find this colorful bird lying motionless on the grass. Small injury on a wing made me wonder what happened...hit by a car...attacked by dog/cat. I did not want to pass the "opportunity" to capture a wonderful feathers what reminded of the Phoenix. have a most wonderful weekend...seeya

Perhaps some tourists caused the injury, they kill a lot of the wildlife here with their reckless driving (yes, it's that time of year again here.) Great pattern and color here. Super capture!
