Description

I have been painting a lot of facial portraits, none of which I have posted here. It had been a great deal of time since I had done any sketching or painting and I wanted to start from scratch and learn all over again. After weeks of just head shots, inspiration struck during a RP session and this was the result. It begins with a black and white build up and using color overlays, it is built up and this was the end result. I am so happy with it.

It came out so well--I'm still not real good at taking a BW image and adding color, so I am amazed at how smooth and natural the color looks. Plus it's just the sweetest image!
