Description

For the last couple of weeks, I've been working on a flagstone patio for a client. This is one of the slabs I've moved--and I've moved it WAY too many times!! But, beyond that, this stone is incredibly gorgeous. It's quartz, has little chunks of what look like crystal and it fairly glows. I'm almost done, have been taking loads of pix, so soon you'll see the whole project. My back and body tell me they can't wait!!

You have way more ambition (and energy) than I do, that's for sure! A beautiful rock, and I love your POV and signature intensity of color and contrast!

First things first...new avatar I see...very neat! Always good to change once in awhile. Half your friends won't know where you've gone for a week or so. Now, about the piece of custard pie that you claim weighs so much:-)))) Good pic Marilyn.

What a hunk of rock alright. Love the way it glows. I used to be interested in "gem stones" before. Good luck in the project. Aloha

I've stared at it and stared at it, and what I see is not a stone of quartz, but a slice of pineapple pie, crust and all, or at least pizza without any fillings. Nice effects in this macro, Marilyn!

Great capture! That stone is really awesome with all the textures and its own struture we see much better with zoom. The contrast with the soil make your piece more impressive.I do like the way you "show/hide" something in the right corner...(!!!)and good luck for your work!
