Description

As the trainer demonstrates, the Peregrine Falcon has large claws for its size. The are used to grab the target out of the air at high speed, invariably breaking the neck of the prey. Keep well, Clive

Well done shot - looks like the trainer shows his bird how to use his claws. The bird looks very interested, I think.

Beautiful capture! Love it! In our local park last year, there was a demonstration by hawkers. They had, among others, a Gyrfalcon. The trainer let it go, not realising the park is full of trees LOADED with PIGEONS! FOOD!!!! Dinner was served! And well, to cut a long story short, it didn't come back! At all!!!!! So funny! Another really fine and lovely picture. Rob.
