Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Oh gosh! I know Marilyn is going to love this. "Yard Work" would have been a perfect title for her, as well, since that's how she spends so much of her time! This is great. What a beautiful sky!

Omigosh, Bill, I love this--it would work just fine on that old track. And yep, red's my favorite color, I'm wearing a red shirt at this very moment!!

What a great exhibition of color! The composition lends itself to a long expanse of eye appeal.

It's so interesting to me how different from our locomotives yours are! A super colourful pic!

Excellent image, Bill. "HLCX" was unfamiliar to me. Wiki says it's: Helm Leasing Corporation, much as airlines lease their planes. H'mm. Another layer of the onion.

'Bill....WATCH OUT FOR THE THIRD RAIL'!!!!!!!!! Nah, actually the little track on the right is gorgeous!

Super shot. That red will catch everyone's eyes.

Excellent capture. Old crappy power units for lease at high prices. Somebody figured a way to make big bucks with little effort. They don';t fix up those old units and they break down all the time.

Very nice capture, Bill! I love the lightness here and those prime colors!

Big American trains! Another really cool thing! Camera out........! Lovely shot. Interesting , for people outside the US I'm sure. Our trains are pathetic! Apart from the Express jobs... They shift... Take me to your leader, Bill! I'm in your hands! Ha! Great shot. Rob.

Great shot... Now I'm wondering about those mini tracks in the lower right corner. What's the story there? They look like the type tracks we have in Leakin Park for live steam enthusiasts, etc.

Can't you hear that whistle down the line? Stellar panoramic vista of these colorful and well-maintained locomotives, going which way I do not know. The whole area looks neat and tidy, in contrast to the tracks around my area.
